DESCRIPTION:Duration:   3 hours\nFormat:      Lecture + Demonstrations \nThis course provides a basic understanding of how Financial Information Systems (FIS) is used to facilitate administrative financial management while introducing common terms and concepts used in FIS. \nThis is the prerequisite for all new FIS users who plan to complete the Standard Curriculum. \nTopics include: \n\nIntroduction to the terms and concepts used in FIS\nUnderstanding the big picture of Funds Management and Controlling within the FIS system\nOverview of types of master data in Funds Management and Controlling\nOverview of Funds Management and Controlling hierarchies including Funds Centers\, Cost Centers and Internal Orders.\n\nPrior to attending this class\, please read the Introduction to FIS document. \nPre-requisites: none \nE-Token – For this particular course the attendee should have an activated e-Token.
