Lunch & Learn – April 2024 – A Deep Dive into the ZFM1 (Funding: Funds Center or Fund) Report

The FAST team hosts a series of short (30 – 45 minute) virtual presentations on topics of interest for financial administrators at all levels.

All sessions will be recorded and presented by FAST, and often in collaboration with other units.

There is no registration required.

This month’s session will be held on Tuesday, April 30th (12pm – 1pm) via MS Teams, and will be presented by the F.A.S.T Team.

Topic: A Deep Dive into the ZFM1 (Funding: Funds Center or Fund) Report

This Lunch and Learn session will explore the purpose, inputs and how to interpret the report output in various scenarios.

Topics include:

• What is the ZFM1 – Funding: Funds Center or Fund report?
• Common questions answered by the report
• Selection criteria and display variants
• Interpreting the report output
• Column specific drilldown functionality
• Utilizing ZFM1 report in the new Fiscal Year to understand Operating Reserves (i.e. carryforward)
