Lunch & Learn – February 2024 – Trust Fund Accounting, Policy and Reporting

The FAST team hosts a series of short (30 – 45 minute) virtual presentations on topics of interest for financial administrators at all levels.
All sessions will be recorded and presented by FAST, and often in collaboration with other units. There is no registration required.
This month’s session will be held on Wednesday, February 28th (12pm – 1pm) via MS Teams, and will be presented by the F.A.S.T Team.
Topic: Trust Fund Accounting, Policy and Reporting
This Lunch and Learn session will define what Trust Funds/endowments are, policies and FIS reports that can be used to manage Trust Funds.

- How to establish Trust Funds?
- Trust Fund Budgets – Endowed vs Expendable
- Reporting on Trust Funds in FIS
