The FAST team hosts a series of short (30 – 45 minute) virtual presentations on topics of interest for financial administrators at all levels.
All sessions will be recorded and presented by FAST, and often in collaboration with other units. There is no registration required.
This month’s session will be held on Wednesday, January 31 (12pm – 1pm) via MS Teams, and will be presented by the F.A.S.T Team.
Topic: Purchase Order Reporting
Departments regularly track the status and close Purchase Orders that have remaining reserves that are no longer required.
This Lunch and Learn session will walk through a variety of AMS reporting options that will help you track, manage and release Purchase Orders in the system.
Topics include:
- Understanding how and when Purchase Order reserves and actuals are posted against FIS accounts
- Tracking the status of multiple POs
- Tracking the history of a single PO
- Understanding the history of the Purchase Order item
- releasing a Purchase Order reserve
